2014-04 EU Specialty Food Ingredients participates in EFSA workshop on the re-evaluation of food additives

EU Specialty Food Ingredients  presents the views of the manufacturers of food additives at the EFSA workshop on the re-evaluation of food additives on 28th April 2014

The specialty food ingredients industry supports the re-evaluation exercise, as it notably helps (re-)build consumer trust in food additives, which are a collective asset. An efficient and successful re-evaluation program is indeed beneficial to all stakeholders involved.   EU Specialty Food Ingredients  participated actively to EFSA Stakeholder Workshop with a view to contribute to the organisation of the workflow and provision of data which is required to be submitted in a timely manner to the EFSA Panel in charge of the re-evaluation.
