2015-11 A new President for EU Specialty Food Ingredients

At its AGM on 17th November, EU Specialty Food Ingredients General Assembly elected a new Board. Mr Franck Monmont, Regional Director EMEA at Cargill, was appointed President of the federation. He then declared “I am truly honoured by this election and would like to thank the members of the Board for their confidence and congratulate them for their own election. I would also like to warmly thank my predecessor, Mr Ambjerg, for his committed and efficient Presidency, which has confirmed EU Specialty Food Ingredients's essential role in the food and nutrition debates in Europe. I am looking forward to working with EU Specialty Food Ingredients members and the EU Specialty Food Ingredients team to deliver on the strategic objectives we endorsed today and help foster our federation’s recognition among all stakeholders.”

Mr Christian Baz,  Scientific Advisor at EU Specialty Food Ingredients, the European Committee for Umami, was appointed Vice-President and Mr Hans-Christian Ambjerg, Senior Vice-President of Innovation at DSM Nutritrional Products, as Treasurer.
