2023-06 LATEST UPDATE ON THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE FARM-TO-FORK STRATEGY

Members of EU Specialty Food Ingredients have had the great pleasure to welcome at their Annual General Meeting an official from the European Commission, who gave an update on the state-of-play of the development of the upcoming legislative framework for a Union sustainable food system, including sustainability labelling, in the context of the implementation of the action plan of the Farm-to-Fork Strategy adopted in May 2020. This was the occasion of a fruitful exchange of views, amongst others about the role of the specialty food ingredients industry in the sustainable food chain.
